Group discussion is the first test in GTO at SSB Interview
It is the first task in your SSB Interview GTO Section. In this, a group of 8-10 candidates sitting on chairs in a semicircle. GTO tells the candidates about two topics to be discussed, time for discussion can vary between 10-15 min.
Points to remember
- Carefully listen to GTO instruction and understand the topic of discussion.
- It's not important to be the first speaker but do not wait too long.
- Speak at least 2-3 times in a GD, and speak with reasons and logic.
- Understand this is GROUP DISCUSSION means discussion, not DEBATE, so there is no wrong and no right.
- Do not cut short any candidates in between when they putting up his views.
- Do not lose your temper and speak with charm and smile.

How corruption affects India, Let me tell you corruption is not only an anti-poor phenomenon but also an anti nation. 40% of food grain and 36 % sugar get leaked to black-market through PDS system, and never reached to poor. Introduction

But in today's world, violence against women is common news in the paper, women are taken for granted and evils like dowry, forced marriage, still exist in our society.
Women empowerment is needed to improve and uplift the condition of women in today's male-dominated society.
Steps Taken
By educating women we educate the whole family and give her confidence to stand for herself. Stop child marriage is a major step that gives chance to a girl child to be mature and grow freely.
To stop knowing gender before birth and killing girl foeticides. Act against dowry is another step taken by the government that protects women from violence. Another step is having equal rights in property and getting 50% possession of the husband's property after divorce.
Women reservation bill give equal plate-form to women to present themselves in national-level issues and participate in nation growth equally. Speedy court to process cases of violence against women and strict punishment to culprits.

The government has taken various steps to empower women but they all are ineffective unless women respected in their own homes.
